Thank you for your request to have a dog park near the Frontier area. We currently have a three-acre dog park in McClelland Park in the 2300-2600 block East 26th St for everyone in the whole city to enjoy. Dogs need a lot of space to run and play and so dog parks require a significant amount of room. McClelland Park was chosen for the site of our dog park, because it is our largest city park with 56 acres of trails and greenspace to explore in addition to having room for the three-acre dog park. As we review future plans for our other parks, we will keep your request in mind. Thank you. Sarah Peelman, Sustainability Coordinator
