Hello- the alternate parking violation is the ordinance code. What you received the ticket for (I'm assuming- without having the plate or ticket number) was for parking on the side of the road for the one day a week listed on the bottom portion of your sign. Yes, they do this throughout the warmer months for not only street cleaning, but any work that needs to be done on the roads. I apologize, but from the information you have given, the ticket will remain valid. We request payment within 10 days of the ticket being issued to avoid any further penalties.
