| Background or description of person or organization | Meals On Wheels Erie has been in Erie since 1971 and in that time, has NEVER MISSED A DELIVERY. We deliver nutritious meals to the elderly and disabled in our city. The delivery of this wonderful meal allows them to remain independent and in their own home. The face of our volunteer drivers are sometimes the only face our clients see that day. |

Unfortunately, the Mayor will not be able to deliver the proclamation in person at that time as that is the weekend of Celebrate Erie and his schedule has already been filled for months. |
